BSC Joins Gitcoin DeFi & Cross-chain Hackathon

Binance Smart Chain will join Gitcoin’s DeFi & cross-chain interoperability hackathon under the umbrella of the recently announced $1 billion growth fund for the BSC ecosystem. Gitcoin is the proprietor of gitcoin.co, a platform for building remote-first, open-source communities through bounties, hackathons, grants, and more. Their tools attract developers and entrepreneurs from around the world to build products and infrastructure for the future of blockchain and Web3.

Over the next 3 weeks, teams can apply to the hackathon and address one of the two tasks (or both) that focus on providing better interoperability and cross-chain functionality for NFTs. These two challenges are designed to address some of the issues we can recognize and believe that an efficient solution could boost the development of the BSC ecosystem. The total prize is $50,000.

The hackathon starts on October 18 and ends on November 8, 2021.
