Why Trading Agents

Trading is one of the clearest use cases for AI agents: Markets run 24/7. Data moves fast. Narratives rotate quickly.

But most users cannot track everything, compare signals, and act at the right time. AI agents can help close that gap.

We want to see agents that help users make better trading decisions, with the capability to process market data, detect signals, create strategies, and support on-chain execution on BNB Chain.

Choose Your Track

Track 1: Autonomous Trading Agents ($24,000, 5 winners)

Build end-to-end agents that trade on-chain autonomously on BSC. The deliverable is an executable agent that reads markets via CMC, decides, and signs / executes transactions via TWAK, within user-defined rules. It then trades live on BSC during the competition week, scored on real PnL.

Stack used:

• CMC MCP + Cognitive Layer (research and signal layer)
• Trust Wallet Agent Kit (self-custody local signing, autonomous-mode operation, native x402, LangChain / MCP / REST coverage)
• BNB AI Agent SDK
• BNB Chain (execution venue: PancakeSwap, BSC perps, etc.)

Track 2: Strategy Skills ($6,000, 3 winners)

Build CMC Skills that generate trading strategies from market data. The deliverable is a backtestable strategy spec, not a live-trading agent. Lower entry bar, no execution layer required.

Stack used:

• CMC MCP server (12 tools: quotes, technicals, on-chain, derivatives, sentiment, news)
• CMC pre-computed indicators (RSI, MACD, EMA, ATR, F&G)
• CMC Skills framework + find_skill intent routing
• Optional: CMC x402 for pay-per-call data access

Closest reference: Quantopian-style strategy generation, adapted to crypto and to LLM-authored skills.

Judging and Prizes

How Judging Works

Track 1. Autonomous Trading Agents: Live PnL

Agents trade on a held-out window and are ranked on total return, with a max drawdown cap as a risk gate. Push past the drawdown threshold and you are disqualified, no matter how good the headline number looks. A minimum trade count and simulated transaction costs apply. In short: most profit without blowing up.

Track 2. Strategy Skills and all Special Prizes: Discretionary panel

A panel of technical and ecosystem experts scores submissions on technical execution, originality, real-world relevance, and demo and presentation.

Cash Prizes

The prize pool from two main tracks adds up to $30,000.

There’s also $2,000 x 3 partners in prizes up for grabs, for the builds that make the best use of each partner's tool. 

• Best Use of Agent Hub (CMC), open to either or both tracks
• Best Use of Trust Wallet Agent Kit (Trust Wallet), Track 1
• Best Use of BNB AI Agent SDK (BNB Chain), both tracks, awarded at BNB Chain's discretion to a single team or split across standout builds

A team can win both a main placement and a special. This makes the grand total prize pool of the hackathon to be $36,000.
