Introduction & Objectives
We invite proposals for a prediction‑market–dedicated oracle capable of resolving arbitrary real‑world event outcomes and time‑series price data on BNB Chain (BSC / opBNB). The oracle must:
- Ensure trusted data provenance, secure on‑chain delivery, and credible dispute resolution.
- Deliver optimistic finality for most cases (fast, low‑cost) while maintaining a decentralized, auditable backstop for contentious events.
- Support a hybrid architecture: on‑demand adjudication for subjective events (e.g., UMA OO / MOOV2) + continuous price feeds for objective/time‑series markets (e.g., RedStone), with composable fallbacks.
Business goals
- Reduce average settlement latency and cost vs always‑on oracles.
- Preserve market integrity under load, manipulation attempts, and edge cases.
- Provide a vendor‑neutral API and SDKs to enable rapid product iteration across many markets.
Scope of Work
The selected vendor(s) will provide:
- Event‑resolution oracle (binary, multiple‑choice, numeric; support for MULTIPLE_VALUES style batch resolution) with optimistic flow and permissionless disputes.
- Dispute infrastructure including bonds, liveness windows, evidence handling, and appeal timelines.
- AI‑assisted proposing: evidence gathering from news/APIs/social; human‑in‑the‑loop review; provenance logs.
- Hybrid controller to route each market to the right path (subjective → optimistic oracle; objective price → real‑time feed; fallbacks on failure).
- On‑chain delivery on BSC / opBNB (required) and optional EVM chains; gas‑efficient calldata formats.
- Target finalization ≥ 95% of markets within ≤ 2 hours liveness.
- Contested resolution within a few days, with transparent timelines.
- Handle ≥ 50k active markets, ≥ 1k/day new requests, ≥ 500 concurrent liveness windows without degradation.
