Book in Three Steps

BNB Chain, Travala, and Binance Pay have teamed up to let travellers search, book, and pay for hotels through an AI agent on Travala.

Travala is a crypto-native travel booking platform. Its agent works on desktop and mobile web and takes payment from a BNB Smart Chain (BSC) wallet. You don’t need to install an app or configure developer tools.

To book a hotel:

1. Open the agent. Simply head to the AI travel agent on Travala to get started.
2. Prepare your wallet. Fund a self-custody BSC wallet with a supported stablecoin: USDT.
3. Find and book your hotel. Tell the agent where you want to go, choose from the hotel options it presents, and authorise payment from your wallet.

Hotel bookings are available at launch. Flights, cars, and activities are planned for later phases.

How BNB Chain and Binance Pay power the payment

Travala provides the hotel inventory and travel interface. BNB Chain provides the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) software development kit (SDK), the agentic framework, and the network on which stablecoin payments settle. Binance Pay provides the settlement infrastructure.

You authorise payment by signing an offchain Permit2 authorisation with your wallet. The signature itself does not require a gas payment. The MPP SDK verifies the signature, checks the wallet’s balance and spending allowance, and validates the authorisation before sending it to Binance Pay for settlement.

Binance Pay then submits the transaction and pays the network gas fee, moving the funds from the traveller’s wallet to Travala. Once settlement is complete, MPP marks the payment as complete and issues an onchain receipt, confirming the booking.

Connecting AI Agents to Hotel Bookings and Payments

Tell the agent where you want to go, browse the hotel options, and choose your stay directly on Travala’s website. You authorise payment from your wallet using supported stablecoins on BNB Smart Chain, and receive your booking confirmation once payment is complete.

The agent works on desktop and mobile web, so you can book from your browser without downloading an app.
